Baby’s First Easter Basket

The Vintage Blonde - Baby's First Easter Basket Ideas The Vintage Blonde - Baby's First Easter Basket IdeasThe Vintage Blonde - Baby's First Easter Basket IdeasSo I know that Kennedy will not remember her first Easter but I still wanted to put together a cute little Easter basket for her filled with cute but useful things. A lot of you emailed or DM’d me asking what I put in her basket from my Instagram post so I figured I would just share here….

I decided to get a Easter basket that we could continue to use again and again after Easter so I used these adorable baskets from Plum + Sparrow. I use the larger one for trips to the farmers market or keep it in the living room for a place to stash her downstairs toys. I got Kennedy a smaller one that she can carry around as she gets older, after Easter I will probably use it to store all of her bows. They also have beautiful moses baskets that I am completely in love with.

So heres what I added to her basket…

Jellycat Bunny, Duck, Lamb – This things are so stinkin’ cute and insanely soft. Kennedy got the unicorn one as a gift and I’ve been in love with this brand ever since.

Sriracha Sippy Cup – Kennedy is still a little too young for this cup but I thought it was adorable and couldn’t pass it up. For of a novelty item but cute nonetheless.

Books – Llama Llama Easter Egg, Happy Easter, Mouse, Bright Baby Touch and Feel Easter, I Love You, Honey Bunny are some favorites and all under $6.00

Amber Teething Necklace – People swear by these necklaces so  I bought Kennedy a darker colored one a few weeks ago and honestly didn’t notice a chance in her as far as it helping. But then a friend said it’s actually the lighter colored ones that are the best  so I decided to give them another try. I got this one and this one (comes with and anklet) and I have noticed her drooling has decreased a lot which has been nice. She’s majorly teething right now though so we have been trying a bunch of things to help with that so I cant say if the necklace has solely been helping but they are cute!

Teething Toys – My mom got Kennedy a broccoli teething toy and its been her absolute favorite! I looked into it and found out its from a company called Little Toader and they make so many more food related teethers. I wanted to get her some more as back ups so I got the carrots, bacon, and s’mores. All of their products are BPA free, lead free, PVC free, and phthalate free which is a great.  Another favorite teether is this adorable llama one, its a rattle too so it keeps Kennedy occupied for a bit. And Sophie the Giraffe is a good go to…I ended up buying two just in case she loses one. Shes going through a phase of throwing all of her toys overboard on her stroller rides.

Bunny Booties  – I am so in love with these. Seriously the cutest and she can continue to wear them after Easter. They are hand crocheted by women in the USA using ethically sourced yarn.

I recently made breast milk popsicles and Kennedy LOVED them. We tried a few different popsicle molds and I found that these ones from Nuby worked the best. I got these mesh ones too  for frozen fruit but we are waiting a bit longer until we give Kennedy solids so I haven’t had a chance to try them yet. The Vintage Blonde - Breast Milk Popsicles

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!
