The Vintage Blonde - Ring SlingThe Vintage Blonde - Ring SlingKennedy is now 17 lbs and I’ve been looking for a new way to wear her on our hikes. Previously I had been using the Lalabu and loved it but it had a 15 lb weight limit so I was on the hunt for the next best thing. We have the Ergo 360 and Ian loves it but it’s a bit too bulky for me and gets super hot & sweaty, especially in this AZ heat. A friend of mine told me about ring slings and I had to give them a try. I was so so excited when my sling from 419 Park arrived, I immediately opened the package and attempted to put Kennedy in the sling. To be honest I was so confused at first trying to fit her in and adjust it. I watched multiple YouTube videos over and over and it took a few days to feel completely comfortable with it. Now I am absolutely in love! It’s so easy to use and Kennedy is so comfortable in it. We went on a good hour long hike and my back/shoulders didn’t hurt at all and Kennedy ended up falling asleep in it. I hear some moms even breastfeed with their baby still in the sling, although I haven’t mastered that yet! Kennedy is cutting teeth right now and wants to be held 24/7 and this sling saves me, makes it so I can still run errands comfortably. I am actually wearing her now as I’m typing up this post. ❤

419 Park uses 100 % pure linen fabric that’s so soft and durable. The best part is they are completely affordable. I’ve compared it to other slings in the $100-250 range and this sling is equally as nice. Highly recommend if you’re on the market for a sling and don’t want to shell out hundreds of dollars for one. I’ve got my eye on the oatmeal and eggplant one next.  The crazy cool this is the slings are safety grade and tested to hold 250 lbs! I will for sure be using this into Kennedy’s toddler years.
