We have driven past Butterfly Wonderland multiple times and have been wanting to go for over a year. Ian’s sister was in town and as it was a rainy day we figured it would be the perfect time to check it out. I was actually super surprised at how nice it was, it’s much more impressive than it appears from the outside. We started off with a 3D movie which was really interesting, we sat by the door just in case Kennedy didn’t like it or if it was too loud, etc. but it ended up being great and she was really interested in all the sounds/bright lights. Make sure to dress in layers if you check it out because we were sweating! It was so humid in there for the butterflies to be able to thrive and I had wished I had dressed in something a bit cooler. There are also birds and a koi fish pond. After the conservatory, you can view insects in action and view the small aquarium before exiting through the gift shop.
Today we had a lazy relaxing Sunday, the weekends always fly by and it was nice to sleep in and just do nothing. Pizza and football kind of day! I actually took a long bath today and was able to shave my legs and do a nice face mask and deep conditioning treatment.? I am excited because I just signed up for Pampered Mommy Box , each box will include a variety of bath and beauty products, accessories, and other fun essentials that are perfect for mommies. I love subscription boxes and am so excited for it to arrive. Its like getting a surprise present once a month which every mama deserves! I know the first box will contain an Organic Sugar Body Scrub by Organic Bath Co. That alone retails for $27 so its definitely worth the monthly fee of $29.99. They also let me in on a little secret that January’s box will contain a super amazing hair product so I’m curious to see what it is. There are still 8 days left to be able to sign up and order for January’s box, use code VINTAGE for $5 off your first box! Stay tuned too because I will be posting what I received in my first box. 🙂
