Erbaviva Skincare

I’ve always been super obsessed with taking care of my skin and absolutely love when I get to try out new products. I recently had the opportunity to try out some products from Erbaviva and fell in love.

Growing up my mother was always extremely health conscious, our family grew up eating organic and super healthy. From a young age I learned how important skincare was and what you put on your skin mattered. The average woman absorbs 2KG of chemicals into her body from conventional cosmetics every year which is so insane to me. Of course not every single thing I use/have used has been certified organic but I definitely try when I can and most especially when it comes to my baby. Erbaviva products are USDA certified, the highest standard of organic. This means 95% to 100% of the ingredients are guaranteed organic and GMO free.

The moment I opened the package from Erbaviva, I knew it was going to be good. The smell was amazing, everything smelled so so good. Here are some of the products I tried and my thoughts on them…

Baby Shampoo – Kennedy loves her bath time…seriously looooves. She is a fish in the water and would probably be happy spending hours in the bath if she could. I try to only wash her hair every two days or so and love this shampoo. It’s super gentle, smells amazing and left her hair super soft and silky. I used it on my own hair too and recommend it for the whole family.

Baby Washbag – I have never seen or heard of these anywhere and I’d have to say it’s my new favorite. They are little sachets filled with organic oatmeal, lavender, milk and pure essential oils and are so cool. It has a nice calming scent and you just plop one into the bath and use it as a washcloth on baby. It left both of us super soft and clean feeling.

Baby Oil – I’ve talked about this before but most baby oils out there contain so many harsh chemicals that just completely clog the skin. This one is organic and made with the safest and purest oils out there. We use this after every bath and it leaves the skin soft without feeling or looking too oily. I also use a tiny drop on Kennedy’s face here and there when she gets dry skin and it works like a charm.

Organic Cotton Hooded Baby Towel – I love love love this towel. A lot of the organic towels I’ve bought in the past are crunchy or super hard feeling and I was pleasantly surprised at how soft this is. Kennedy haaaates a hard towel and the moment I wrapped her in this she was all smiles.

Baby Butter – This stuff is just all around amazing. I actually use it on myself a lot and just love the smell. Leave the skin feeling nice and hydrated without it feeling sticky or caked on.

Organic Deodorant – I am so so excited about this stuff, my husband was actually laughing at me that I got excited about deodorant but I’ve been looking for a good organic deodorant for years and nothing worked. This one smells amazing and actually works! They have a jasmine/grapefruit scent or a lemon/sage and they both smell incredible. I will for sure be buying this in the future when I run out, so good!
