If you’ve followed me on Instagram for awhile then I am sure you are familiar with our cats, Ovi, Sailor and Stuart. They are all rescues cats (Sailor & Stuart are siblings) and very important members of our family. Having three cats its been difficult finding a cat food brand that all three of them love and I am SO pleased to say we have finally found it.

We recently switched them to Purina® Pro Plan® Savor Shredded Blend and they love it! We have been getting their food at our local PetSmart for years and love how convenient it is and everything there is so easy to find. Ovi loves their Salmon & Rice Shredded blend and Sailor and Stuart love the Chicken & Rice Shredded blend. Real poultry or fish is the #1 ingredient in all dry formulas and it offers a combination of crunchy kibble and tender shredded pieces for a taste and texture cats love. I love Purina® Pro Plan® Savor because no ingredients are unnecessary. Everything works in sync to support the overall health of your pets. And right now PetSmart has an amazing offer on this food: Spend $15 on any Purina® Pro Plan® product, 5/31–7/5. SAVE $15 on your next purchase of 10.5-lbs. or larger Purina® Pro Plan® Dry Cat or Dog Food or Litter by 7/31.

I also wanted to share a quick tutorial for all you cat parents…its fun and easy and your cats will love it. Ours have so much fun playing with these and they are the SIMPLEST toys to make…seriously so easy.

Here are the things you will need:

  • An empty cardboard toilet paper roll
  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Mark four, 1/4-inch (or finger-width) marks on the side of the cardboard roll.
  2. Use the scissors to cut each ring.

That’s it! Easy peasy and these keep our cats entertained for hours.

From there I like to make toilet paper cat balls which is also super easy and uncomplicated…

You’ll need:

  • An empty cardboard toilet paper roll
  • Scissors
  • Treats, which are optional but recommended for added fun.

Instructions:

  1. Mark four, 1/4-inch (or finger-width) marks on the side of the cardboard roll.
  2. Use the scissors to cut each ring.
  3. Insert the first ring into the second ring, then continue with the third and fourth, until you’ve formed a ball.
