This past weekend, we took a drive up north to Sedona with Ian’s little sister being in town. It’s about a two hour drive from Phoenix, and it’s always nice to go up there for a great day outdoors. One of my favorite places is the West Fork trail. It’s a super easy hike and not too long so I feel like it’s perfect with us having a baby. There’s a stream that runs through the canyon and it was beautiful. The hike was crazy because walking in it was super warm and sunny (on the verge of sweating) and as soon as we got into the shade of the canyon it was snowy and freezing cold. I made sure to dress Kennedy in layers so she could stay warm and comfortable. It reminded me of an ice cave as the stream was frozen over and the walls were covered in icicles. I love love love hiking with Kennedy because she’s always so wide eyed just staring at all the new sights. We had the best time and can’t wait until the next trip.

XOXO,

vintage
