We decided to check out MacDonald Ranch today and had so much fun. First, let me start off by saying that having a newborn very time consuming…I am normally an on-time person and I’m pretty sure we left the house two hours later than we had planned. This baby girl can eat…I fed her and 30 minutes later she was hungry again. Same goes for diaper changes…changed her right before we left the house and 5 minutes into the car ride her diaper was full again. Phew, being a mama is hard work but I wouldn’t change a thing! And luckily I have Ian who helps out a ton. Weekends are my favorite because I can sleep in for a bit…even an extra 20-30 minutes of sleep is heaven.
So…we get the the ranch and soon realize our camera battery is completely dead. Luckily got a few good pictures on the iPhone. MacDonald Ranch is amazing though, we definitely want to go back once Kennedy is older. We ended up skipping the pumpkin patch because you have to take a hay ride to get there and we didn’t feel comfortable with such a tiny baby bouncing up and down in the back of a truck. There are so many activities though for young children and the set up was so nice.
I was happy too because I finally got to use my new diaper bag from Ixchel Triangle. I am so in love with this company…they have the prettiest bags and each one is completely one of a kind. They are handmade by local artisans from Guatemala and the quality is unreal, so gorgeous. A portion of the proceeds is given to every artisan who participated in the construction of these 100% hand-made Ixchel’s creations. The artisans are paid above market wages for their creations which is so great. The interior of my bag also contains a zippered pocket containing a changing pad which is a huge plus. They also have the prettiest yoga bags and camera straps.
